After today's ballot recount at the Fresno County Elections Office, the election for Division 2 is still a tie. However, a possible discrepancy was found and may allow for one of the candidates to request another recount. The District is awaiting further information and instructions from the Fresno County Elections Office on how to proceed.

Well Registration Event Information

The North Fork Kings Groundwater Sustainability Agency (NFKGSA) will be hosting a Well Registration Event in the Laguna Irrigation District Conference Room at 5065 19-1/2 Ave, Riverdale, on Thursday, September 19, 2024, from 9:00am – 12:00 noon. This event will be conducted by NFKGSA and Watermark Staff.

MAY 29, 2024 FLOOD RELEASE:
​
The Army Corps of Engineers has called for a short flood release for approximately 8 - 12 days, to increase diversions from Pine Flat Dam due to expected high temperatures ahead. This flood release will begin on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at 0001 hours.

MAY 4, 2024 FLOOD RELEASE:
The Army Corps of Engineers has announced a minor Flood Release from Pine Flat Dam on May 4, 2024, at 0001 hours. No water is expected to leave the Kings River Service area.
Please follow all Water Orders & Delivery procedures shown below.

2024 WATER ORDERS & DELIVERY:
​
The 2024 Water Run will begin on May 8, 2024, when the canals will begin to fill. The length of the water run should be a minimum of 90 days, but with a possible flood release, things can change.
No allocation will be set at this time due to the flood release possibility. However, all water will be metered, and the $5/acre foot delivery charge will be assessed.
The District will begin taking Water Orders on Wednesday, May 1, 2024.
To order water, call Terri at the District's office.
559-923-6800 extension #1 (office hours are 7:00am to 12:00 noon and 1:00pm to 3:30pm)
Weekend orders need to be placed by 2:00pm on Friday. Water Users will then be contacted and scheduled by the Ditchtender when water becomes available.

When placing an order, please include the following information:
1. Your Name
2. Contact Phone Number
3. Turnout Number
4. Flow Requested in CFS (cubic feet per second)
5. Desired Delivery Date
ALL WATER TRANSFER & WATER SALE DOCUMENTS need to be completed in the District Office. If you have changes due to land sales/purchases or changes in rented acres, please let us know prior to the water run.

To be eligible for water deliveries, all Assessments or other past due balances must be paid in full prior to water usage or water sale.
